The 5 Human Design Energy Types
What is Human Design?
Human Design is a self-awareness tool that combines multiple modalities including; astrology, the kaballah, the i-ching, chakras, quantum physics, and genetics. It provides an operating manual for your Soul’s energy so that you can experience fulfilment, joy and ease in your life.
Your unique Human Design is based on birth date, time and location. It may seem hard to believe - but before you turn your nose up at the idea, I implore you to look deeper into your own Human Design and feel whether the information resonates.
Energy and Auras
We all have an aura that extends three to six feet beyond our physical body. If you’ve ever felt tension in a room, or you’ve felt drawn to someone, it’s because your aura is energetically communicating with the aura of another.
Human Design offers language to describe the different types of auras that exist in the world. It provides insight into your unique energy so that you know the kind of “vibes” you bring to an environment, and where you are vulnerable to others’ “vibes”.
An intro into the 5 energy types
Manifestor
Their energy is big, impactful, and spontaneous. They are the ones with the big ideas who will start projects, movements, and conversations based on their internal urges. They need freedom to thrive and don’t like to be controlled or contained. They are here to be unapologetic as they create waves.
Generator
Their energy is warm and attractive, especially when engaging in tasks that light them up. They are at their best when guided by their gut instincts and feel frustrated when things don’t light their internal fires. When something does, however, their energy is palpable and infectious and everyone wants in.
Manifesting Generator
Their energy is fast-paced and buzzing. They are the great multi-taskers of life, interested and passionate in a million things. They live life colouring outside the lines. As such, their life is never linear or predictable. They move fast and have a lot on the go, but like the Generator they perform best when something lights up their soul.
Projector
Their energy is deeply penetrating and absorbed in what it sees. They’re the ones with an innate ability to see what is really going on in any situation. Acutely gifted at spotting patterns, trends, and efficiencies they are amazing at tweaking energy so that life runs smoothly. Projectors need a little more rest than other energy types and they need to let go of any guilt around this.
Reflectors
Their energy is very light and translucent. These people reflect the life they are in the middle of, whether it’s their friendship group, workplace, or home. Because of this, their health and well-being is often an amplified version of their environment. Their decision-making needs to be slow and considered, and guided by their feelings rather than the advice of others.
